The daughter of Lord Braska, Yuna is the high summoner who defeated Sin and brought about the Eternal Calm. She lived most of her life by a strict code of ethics directed by the teachings of Yevon. She always believed that she would one day sacrifice herself to defeat Sin, but through the love and faith of her guardians she realized that it was possible to deliver to the people of Spira an even greater gift by defeating Sin forever. After this great victory, Yuna is now attempting to explore and enjoy the life she thought she would have to forsake. Along with her cousin Rikku and the Gullwings—a group of Al Bhed sphere hunters—she scours Spira in search of valuable spheres containing records of the long forgotten history before Sin.
